Sports Day Report (Grades 1 to 3)
The Sports Day for Grades 1 to 3 was celebrated with great joy and excitement at The Brigade School @ Mahadevapura on 13 January 2026. The sports ground came alive with bright colours, cheerful smiles, and the enthusiastic presence of students, teachers, and parents.
The programme began with the reception of the chief guest and a warm welcome address. The opening ceremony featured a smart and disciplined march past by Grade 3 students, reflecting teamwork and coordination. In his address, the chief guest encouraged the young learners to enjoy sports and develop healthy habits.
Track events followed with energetic 50-metre sprint races for boys and girls of Grades 1, 2, and 3. A lively mass drill by Grade 2 students using hula-hoops and pom-poms added colour and rhythm to the event, showcasing their practice and teamwork. Fun-filled activities such as the shuttle relay, mixed obstacle relay, flexi-fun events, and the topsy-turvy team relay kept the excitement high.
The Sports Day concluded with a combined march past, prize distribution ceremony, and a vote of thanks. The event was a grand success, leaving the children with happy memories and valuable lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition.
