Annual Intramural Sports Meet – Opening Ceremony 2024-25

The Brigade School @ Whitefield held its Annual Intramural Sports Meet Opening Ceremony on June 13th, 2024.

Shraddha of Std 8B welcomed the students, staff, and management to the programme. The event began with a quote from Picabo Street: “To uncover your true potential, you must first find your limits and then you have to have the courage to blow past them.”

Navya Kilam of Std 8A announced the programme planned for the event. Ms. Suresh, the Principal of The Brigade Schools @ Whitefield, addressed the gathering, followed by a talk from Mr. Cheria, Administrator of the Brigade Foundation. He shared his childhood experiences to motivate the students. His words emphasised the importance of holistic development through sports. Cultivating values through sportsmanship, teamwork, and a never-say-die attitude was highlighted.

Mr. Cheria declared the Annual Intramural Sports Meet 2024-25 open, and the oath was administered to the students of Std 6 to 10 by Neev Sureka of Std 10A.

The exhibition football match was exciting, and the teams received thunderous applause. Commentary by our students Partiv Vijay of Std 10A and Dhanvi of Std 9 added even more excitement to the event. The match was impressive, and all participants were applauded for their performance.

Sai Pravalika of Std 8B proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the support staff, students, faculty, Principal, and management for providing a platform for showcasing talents on the sports field. She concluded with a motivational quote by Cameron Trammell: “Win If You Can, Lose If You Must, But NEVER QUIT!”
