Celebrations infuse life with passion and purpose. The Brigade School @ Whitefield celebrated the Carnival: Flash@Brigade, Rangeelo Rajasthan, on November 18th on the school grounds. The ambience, along with the beats of the dhol, welcomed the guests to a fun-filled day.
The motto of the Carnival, ‘Passion with Compassion’ provided a platform for students to explore beyond their curriculum; it gave them opportunities to learn new skills and appreciate the art of giving back to society. Through this Carnival, the students raised awareness and funds to support the education of underprivileged children and the health care needs of paediatric cancer patients.
The event saw numerous food stalls with scrumptious and mouth-watering delicacies, along with merchandise stalls that attracted the audience in large numbers.
As a part of their Mind Space Activity programme, students of grades 1–5 impressed the audience with their knowledge of mathematics, sciences, and languages through various subject activities, performances, and games.
The students of grades 4–8 put up food and handmade jewellery stalls and entertained the audience through their magic shows and innovative games. ‘Scary House’ by the students of grade 8 was a huge crowd-puller.
It was a vibrant, fun-filled, and colourful day that saw the participation of students from nursery to grade 10, showcasing their enthusiasm both in the cultural segment and with their entrepreneurial skills.
