The Brigade School @Whitefield Independence Day Report – 2024-25

Patriotism is not a badge that you should carry on your shoulders. You should have it in your heart and let your actions speak for it.

The Brigade School @ Whitefield celebrated the 78th Independence Day, on 15th August 2024 with pride. The programme started with the hoisting of our flag by

Mr. Manjunath, Manager, Security, followed by our National Anthem.

The celebrations resumed with the cultural programme on the sports field. Mrs. Sangeetha Karthik, Deputy Head of Brigade Foundation, motivated the students to keep working hard until they achieved their goals.

The Principal, Mrs. Reena Suresh, addressed the staff and students and encouraged them to remember that it is a day of great pride and patriotism, where citizens honour the sacrifices of freedom fighters. This day reminds Indians of their unity and the ongoing responsibility to build a prosperous nation. To celebrate our culture and heritage, a group of students at The Brigade Schools sang “Satyameva Jayate”. The talented dancers of our school next showcased a dance medley on the song “Main Lad Jana”.

Apurv Jain of Grade 9A gave a speech on Independence Day. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Adarsh Shiggaon of Grade 9A, which reminded us that every citizen should contribute to the nation’s growth and uphold democratic values. It is a the legacy of the enduring legacy of freedom and the collective responsibility to build a brighter future for all. Happy Independence Day!
