A talk on “Integrated approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future”, by Dr. Tarun Vemulkar who graduated magna cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, USA with an MSc in Material Science and secured his PhD in Physics from Cambridge University, UK was conducted as part of Science Day.

Dr Vemulkar is the co-founder, director and Chief Technology Officer of the start-up company, Semarion Ltd. based in Cambridge, UK. The company is commercializing a patented magnetic microcarrier technology for adherent cell assays. His current role is focused on developing the technology platform at the core of Semarion’s product portfolio by driving innovation and IP generation, spearheading product and application development, and mapping and overseeing manufacturing scale-up.
