Pre-primary Mind Space Activity Day
The pre-primary Mind Space Activity Day took place on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. This event showcased the progress of our LKG and UKG students this year. The students performed various activities and presentations, showing what they learned in different subjects.
UKG students confidently read the story “Room on the Broom,” demonstrating their reading skills. LKG students recited “Arctic Adventure”, showcasing their memorisation skills and imagination. The children recited poems in Hindi and Kannada and performed a lively dance called “The Scary Crow.”
LKG students engaged in sensorial Montessori activities, and UKG students participated in Montessori math activities through hands-on experiences. The LKG and UKG students shared what they learnt about different continents, cultures, and cuisines. They explained the various forms of land, water, and oceans. The UKG students explained the differences between vertebrates and invertebrates and discussed plant and animal characteristics.
LKG students showcased their phonics skills by identifying sounds, blending them, and forming words confidently. UKG students demonstrated their knowledge of tricky words and reading skills using books and newspapers.
Parents displayed their creativity through DIY projects, creating Persian carpets, lamps, and vases. These art pieces added a beautiful touch to the event and served as keepsakes.
Parents were thrilled to see their children perform with pride and confidence and were happy with their learning over the year.
