Pre-primary Cultural Day at The Brigade School @ Whitefield

The Pre-primary Cultural Day on December 15, 2023, was a tribute to Rajasthan’s cultural tapestry, displaying its heritage and historical significance. The venue was a visual treat, decorated with traditional umbrellas, Rajasthani puppets, and vibrant decorations, exuding the State’s essence through royal blue, maroon, and golden hues.

The event commenced with the school song, sung by the 2nd and 3rd graders, followed by a warm welcome from the Vice Principal Ms. Shekar. The lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and prosperity, set the stage for the event.

The pre-primary presenters introduced Rajasthan, leading to a captivating fashion show by the LKG, UKG, and Nursery students. The students beautifully sashayed down the ramp showcasing an array of vibrant lehengas, turbans, and jewellery embracing Rajasthan’s rich culture.

The next event brought to light Rajasthan’s cultural legacy through folk music and dances. The puppet dance by the UKG students and “Aao Ji Padharo” by the LKG students encapsulated the State’s spirit.

The fusion of dance and theatre by the UKG children in “Bahadur Vijay Singh” portrayed the valour of the Rajasthan culture. Dressed in traditional attire, the students showcased graceful and traditional dances such as “Ghoomer” and “Mor Bani Thanghat Kare.”

The “Shubh Din Aayo” performance by the UKG students was a pleasure to watch.

The Grand Finale united all performers, displaying Rajasthan’s unity in diversity.

The success of “Rangeelo Rajasthan” was a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm shown by the students and the teachers. Their commitment brought Rajasthan’s spirit to life, entertaining and educating the audience and fostering a deep appreciation of the State’s cultural heritage.
