Report of the Republic Day Celebration

The 75th Republic Day was joyously commemorated at The Brigade School @ Whitefield, marked by enthusiasm and patriotism.

The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the chief guests and Ms Suresh, Principal of The Brigade School – Whitefield, accompanied by the resonating strains of the National Anthem.

Ms Suresh delivered an inspiring speech, urging the children to understand the significance of Republic Day and emphasising the role of good citizenship in contributing to the nation’s progress. Mr. Kalsad, CEO Brigade Foundation, addressed the gathering by highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution and its role in the country’s development. He encouraged the children to embrace boundless energy, as articulated by Kuvempu in his poem ‘O Nanna Chetana.’

Anvesha Ganesh from Grade 7 addressed the gathering, speaking about the importance of Republic Day. The event commenced with a group performance of “Incredible India” by the senior students giving the audience a glimpse into India’s progress and transitions across various fields, showcasing its evolution into a formidable nation.

A tableau highlighting the ‘Rocket Women of India’ celebrated the brilliance, strength, and determination of Indian women scientists who played a crucial role in designing successful satellite missions. The grand finale featured an energetic dance display by the students to a medley of songs that inspired confidence and encouraged them to strive for success despite hurdles.

The celebration left an indelible mark, instilling pride and a profound appreciation for the beauty of Incredible India.
