Students performed hands-on activity to understand the solubility of solid and liquid substances in water. This activity helped them to understand the concepts of soluble and insoluble substances, miscible and immiscible substances. They also understood that water could dissolve most of the solutes therefore, they concluded that water is a universal solvent.
The activity helped reinforce the concept of solubility in the students.
