Report on the symposium -Reflexion
The Brigade School @ Mahadevpura, conducted a highly successful symposium on 31 July 2025 titled ‘How Narratives Shape our Lives’. The event witnessed by parents and teachers aimed at showcasing the development of storytelling from its ancient roots to its modern digital forms.
The event commenced with ‘The power of storytelling’, a presentation, which was a fascinating visual journey, by the students. The keynote address by Ms. Iyengar inspired the students and the audience. A series of engaging sessions, like debate, where the students debated on ‘The ‘Rise of Fake News and the Role of Censorship’.
The moderator Aaditya Prakash, alumnus of The Brigade School @ Mahadevapura, handled the arguments in a judicious way. A Group Discussion ‘How narratives shape our lives’ was indeed interesting to listen to. During the ‘Question–Answer session’, the students had the opportunity to interact directly with the parents. The most enjoyed ‘Nukkad Natak’, delved into the theme and brought out the real essence of the theme for the event. The session was a vibrant expression of the transition of storytelling. The PPT presented a fascinating visual journey. Students showcased their tremendous talent to make the Symposium a resounding success.
