Grade 4 Students Blend Art & Science Through Monet-Inspired Creations!
As part of their science lessons on light, our Grade 4 students explored how light transforms throughout the day and brings objects to life. They delved into the world of Impressionist painter Claude Monet, studying how he captured the beauty of sunlight and reflections in his art.
Following guided observations of Monet’s techniques, the young artists created their own masterpieces using soft brush strokes and pastel tones, beautifully portraying sunlight dancing on water.
This hands-on activity was a perfect fusion of science and creativity, helping students appreciate light not only as a scientific phenomenon but also as a powerful tool for artistic expression.
