Grade 5 Science – Simple Machines
Young Engineers in Action!
Our Grade 5 science class transformed into a buzzing innovation hub as young engineers dived into the world of simple machines! With curiosity in their eyes and creativity at their fingertips, students built working models of levers, pulleys, inclined planes, and more—using everyday items.
Some went a step further and invented their own “super machines” by combining two or more simple machines, like a pulley on an inclined plane! What made the activity even more exciting was the way students confidently demonstrated their creations to teachers and classmates, explaining how each model worked.
It wasn’t just a science lesson—it was an adventure in imagination, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.
