LKG
September was a joyful month filled with hands-on learning experiences. In English, our LKG students practised writing digraphs on their slates, strengthening their writing and phonics skills. In Math, they learnt the number 8 through a “Spooky Spider” craft, tracing the number and adding eight legs to reinforce counting in a fun way. For Composite Science, they created a 3D model of a lake using clay, which helped them understand water bodies better. In Montessori, the curious students explored the decimal system using bead materials and learnt about units, tens, hundreds, and thousands through engaging, tactile learning. In Art, they created “Shape Buddies” by pasting circles, squares, and triangles in their scrapbooks, turning simple shapes into creative characters that reinforced visual understanding.
