Grade 6 Biology – Body Movements – Identifying and describing the different types of joints in the body.

Students of Grade 6 learnt about the different types of joints in the human body. Using the materials from the Xperimentor trolley, an activity was conducted to enhance their learning and understanding of the concept. Students had to identify the various joint models given to them. They were able to identify the location and function of these joints.

The learning objectives of this activity were: –

To identify and describe the different types of joints.

To understand the structure and function of each joint.

Developing observation and communication skills

The hands-on approach of the activity helped to promote student engagement and made the learning experience fun and exciting.
