Newspaper Bag Crafting: Fostering Creativity and Environmental Awareness
The activity’s objective was to bring awareness about the need to transition from plastic to paper bags and cultivate an understanding of recycling.
The “Newspaper Bag” activity aimed to instil the importance of environmental conservation and self-reliance to second-grade students. Students enthusiastically participated in this activity and recycled old newspapers into useful bags. The activity provided a platform for children to showcase their creativity as they decorated their paper bags with pretty designs. The essential motor skills of the children developed while doing this activity. Students also learned the importance of adopting eco-friendly alternatives and a sense of responsibility towards their environment.
