CLASS 4 SOCIAL SCIENCE ACTIVITY – HAND IMPRESSION OUT OF CLAY
An engaging Social Science activity on ‘How it all started’ was conducted for the students of class 4. Students took clay, flattened it into a rectangular shape, took an impression of their hands, and decorated it, exploring its design and significance.
This activity helped the students to understand the complexity of the hand’s design. It enabled the children to realise the importance and benefits of the thumb and other digits that served as the earliest tools of early humans.
It was an individual fun activity, which helped improve the social and artistic skills of the students.
This hands-on experience gave them a simple method to understand the concepts taught in class.
