February Musings – UKG
We are almost at the end of our pre-primary years, and we have been enjoying every day that we spend with our peers and teachers! February had lots of new things to learn and practice. In our Montessori class, we worked on the subtraction strip board. In our Composite Science class, we turned into enthusiastic scientists to understand the states of matter- we came to learn that ice is solidified water! We practised our counting skills using ‘addition pegs’ and in our phonics class, we learnt about opposites and practised the same. We did vegetable printing in our APA class and actively participated in our organised games. Our independent skills are improving and in February, we learnt to make orange juice and fold our t-shirts! All these activities are getting us ready to handle more responsibilities.
