Name of Activity: ‘Fancy Dress’
Objective
The ‘Fancy Dress’ activity for Grade I Computer Science aimed to teach students about the “Parts of a computer.” The children were tasked with dressing up as any computer part and speaking two sentences about the part they represented.
Activity Description
The young students were visibly thrilled to participate, transforming themselves into various computer components, including the Monitor, mouse, printer, keyboard, and CPU. This activity successfully blended essential learning with an element of fun, creating an engaging educational experience. The students’ creative costumes, their confident demeanor, and the few lines they spoke about their chosen computer part were highly commendable.
