As part of healthy eating and integrating environmental awareness, students of Grade 2 enthusiastically made a fruit and nut salad. Along with preparing a nutritious fruit and nut salad, students learned about the importance of bees and their invaluable role in nature. They also explored how bees produce honey, one of nature’s most nutritious foods. To make the learning experience engaging and memorable, each child created a beautiful Bee Badge as a take-home craft.
