The Grade 3 students joyfully explored the colours of the rainbow through a creative paper plate activity that beautifully blended art and science. As they learned about the seven colours of a rainbow—Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red—they carefully used each one to bring their designs to life. With steady hands and focused effort, the students drew seven neat semicircles, coloured thoughtfully within the lines, and skillfully used scissors to cut around the edges, shaping fluffy clouds and a vibrant rainbow arc. This hands-on project helped them remember the correct colour sequence while strengthening their fine motor skills and ability to follow multi-step instructions. Every child proudly completed a bright, colourful creation, making the activity both enjoyable and rewarding.
