Grade 3 English Activity – The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party character enactment was a vibrant and imaginative activity designed to deepen students’understanding of Alice in Wonderland through reading, discussion, dramatisation, and role-play.
Dressed as storybook characters, students confidently acted out roles, improving communication, comprehension, and social skills. Watching the movie and creating character drawings added depth to their learning.
With support from teachers and parents, children enjoyed a themed tea party, embracing fantasy and fun while building confidence and developing teamwork skills. The activity sparked joy, encouraged self-expression, and reinforced storytelling, voice modulation, and public speaking—all in a warm, inclusive classroom setting.
