Grade 4 Explored the Science of Friction
Grade 4 students had an exciting time investigating friction through hands-on experiments using toy cars and different surfaces — smooth vs. rough. They discovered that smooth surfaces reduce friction, allowing objects to glide more easily, while rough surfaces increase friction, slowing things down.
The classroom buzzed with curiosity as students related their findings to real-life examples, such as the slippery feel of wet floors or the powdered surface of a carrom board.
This interactive session turned science into a practical and playful experience, helping students understand everyday physics in a fun and memorable way!
