The Secret to Making A Lasting Impression
“Good manners are just a way of showing other people that we have respect for them.” —Bill Kelly.
As part of the comprehensive Practical Skills programme at The Brigade Schools, the students of Std 4 enacted a role play in which they teach animals table manners. Through the role-play, they reiterated basic table manners.
Teaching table manners to students is crucial as it helps them develop social skills, respect for others, and self-confidence. Good table manners, such as saying “please” and “thank you,” not interrupting conversations, and using cutlery and crockery correctly, create a positive atmosphere during meals and benefit them throughout their lives.
