The Brigade School @ J.P. Nagar celebrated its Cultural Day with great splendour on 21 November at the MLR Convention Centre, transforming the evening into a vibrant celebration of talent, tradition and creativity. This year’s theme, “Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” set the stage for a colourful journey through the cultural richness of the two states.
The programme opened with a warm welcome followed by a performance by the school choir. Their melodious rendition of the school song filled the auditorium with pride and joy, perfectly setting the tone for the evening’s cultural exploration. The school band added a dynamic uplift to the celebrations with their upbeat musical pieces. Their confident presence and rhythmic flair energised the audience, drawing appreciative applause and cheers.
The essence of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana unfolded through a series of beautifully choreographed presentations. Students brought to life the states’ rich traditions through classical dance forms, folk theatre, musical interludes and vibrant cultural displays. Mesmerising performances such as Kuchipudi, Buttabommalu and Kolattam highlighted the artistic elegance and cultural diversity of the region, offering both entertainment and learning.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the unwavering efforts of the students, teachers, support staff and parents whose contributions made the evening truly memorable.
