As part of an engaging group learning activity, students explored the fascinating world of ancient Indian astronomical instruments – Ghatikaa Yantra and Mishra Yantra. Working collaboratively in groups, they researched the instruments, understood their purpose and significance, and creatively presented their learning through informative and colourful chart papers.
The activity provided students an opportunity to discover how ancient Indian scholars used scientific knowledge, observation and mathematical understanding to study time and celestial movements. Through teamwork and creative presentation, students developed a deeper appreciation for India’s remarkable contributions to science and astronomy.
