Grade 7 students enthusiastically participated in an engaging puzzle card and game-making activity based on Valency, transforming science learning into a fun and creative experience.
Using cardboard, chart paper, and vibrant colours, they designed interactive puzzles that strengthened their understanding of the combining capacity of elements, ions, and radicals.
Through teamwork and hands-on exploration, students learned how ionic compounds are formed and distinguished between charged atoms (ions) and groups of charged atoms (radicals).
