Grade 8 students enthusiastically participated in a creative classroom activity on the Formation and Types of Coal. Through engaging presentations, they illustrated the stages involved in the formation of coal over millions of years and explored its different types.
This activity helped students understand that coal is an exhaustible natural resource that cannot be replenished within a human lifetime. It also reinforced the importance of conserving fossil fuels and using them sustainably to protect the environment for future generations.
By combining creativity with scientific learning, the activity enhanced conceptual understanding, environmental awareness, and students’ presentation and communication skills.
