HPE Codewars Achievements of TBSM – A Report
“The best view comes after the hardest climb.”
Rohith S and I, Grade 12 Science students at The Brigade School @ J P Nagar, recently had the honour of participating in the HPE Codewars, a national coding competition organised by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in collaboration with Codingal. Drawn by the opportunity to test our skills, we tackled challenging algorithmic problems using Python during the online event held on April 13th.
The competition was demanding yet rewarding. The real-time leaderboard intensified our determination to excel. We faced complex problems, like trees and permutations, that required deep analysis and quick thinking. We spent weeks preparing, working together and pushing each other to get ready.
I secured 61st rank, and Rohith S (12A) achieved 85th out of 6131 participants. We also received certificates and a cash prize of ₹500. We are grateful to our school and our teachers for motivating and encouraging us to participate in this competition.
HPE Codewars was a journey of learning, perseverance, and self-reliance. It fuelled our passion for computer science and inspired us to explore its endless possibilities. We hope our success motivates others to embrace coding.
