Activity Report – June 2025
LKG
1. Subject: Value Education
Activity: Laying Out Lunch
Objective: To foster independence by encouraging children to participate in the routine activity of setting up lunch.
Learning Outcome: Children developed a strong sense of responsibility and independence as they confidently carried out the task of laying out lunch.
2. Subject: English
Activity: Making Patterns Using Clay
Objective: To encourage creativity and strengthen fine motor skills by creating patterns using clay.
Learning Outcome: Children thoroughly enjoyed moulding clay into various patterns. The hands-on activity was both engaging and instrumental in enhancing their fine motor development.
3. Subject: Math
Topic: Shapes – Triangle
Activity: Tree Decor
Objective: To reinforce recognition and understanding of the triangle shape through a creative art-based activity.
Learning Outcome: Children created a tree on paper and decorated it with triangular cutouts, helping them apply their knowledge of shapes in a fun and meaningful way.
4. Subject: Composite Science
Activity: Timeline
Objective: To help children understand the concept of time and how it relates to their growth and development.
Learning Outcome: Children explored the idea of time progression through a personal timeline, gaining awareness of life stages and the sequence of events I in their lives.
5. Subject: Montessori
Activity: Brown Stairs
Objective: To develop visual discrimination of width through tactile, hands-on learning with the Brown Stairs material.
Learning Outcome: Through exploration and manipulation, children learned to visually compare and differentiate widths, enhancing their spatial awareness and perception of size.
