PRE-GRADUATION DAY 2024-25 – The Brigade School @ J. P. Nagar
The Brigade School @ J. P. Nagar celebrated its Pre-graduation Day on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, at the MLR Convention Centre. The programme started with the auspicious lighting of the lamp. Befitting the moment was the rendition of the school song by the students of grades 4 to 8. The Principal, Ms. Parthasarthy, addressed the gathering and spoke about cherishing the time spent in the school and the importance of lending a careful reflection on one’s experience.
Mitali C Shankla, of 12A, recounted her experience of 15 years in the school and talked about how the school provided her with a conducive environment to embrace compassion, learn interpersonal communication, and many other qualities.
Ms. Panini Balaji, the mother of Mahi Deshmukh of 12D, expressed her viewpoints about the school. She applauded the school for providing holistic development for the children with equal stress on academics and co-curricular activities. She is thankful that the school has moulded her daughters, Mahi and Shefali, to emerge as young ladies with impressive demeanour and strong values.
During the occasion, Ms. Menon and Ms. Parthasarathy felicitated the subject toppers and awarded the prestigious ‘Navaneetan Award’ to Dhruv B Kumar of 12A. Following this, Dhruv B Kumar delivered the valedictory address.
The Science and Commerce stream students were called onto the stage with candles in their hands, symbolising the light of knowledge. Mr. Pillai, Ms. Karamadai and Ms. Rekha Rao, the class teachers, had the privilege of calling out the names of their classes for the very last time, filling the air with emotions, memories, and more. It is worth mentioning that the candles used during the ceremony were from an NGO which works with destitute women.
The Principal administered the pledge to the students and encouraged them to become responsible citizens of the country. Our students of Grades 7 and 8 presented a dance. It was a contemporary dance fused with Classical Dance vibes that blossomed on stage as a display of creativity.
The programme ended with the national anthem sung by our junior school choir, followed by high tea.
