September was full of joyful learning and exploration for our LKG students. In Value Education, the children learnt how to grate a carrot, an activity that improved their hand movements and built confidence and independence. In English, they enjoyed reading the red books Moat Farm and Zack, practising blending sounds, spotting sight words, and improving reading fluency. In Montessori, they played the Change Game and used the Bank Game materials to understand units, tens, hundreds, and thousands, making place value learning enjoyable and clear. In Math, our intelligent young students solved number puzzles from 41 to 50, strengthening sequencing and memory. Art classes brought out their creativity through blow painting, where they made colourful pictures by blowing through straws. The month ended on a happy note with an outdoor picnic, where the students played, shared, and enjoyed spending time with their friends.
