Amidst the present pandemic restrictions, students of Std 9 to 12 from The Brigade school @ J P Nagar organized a short and sweet online Teacher’s Day programme for the teachers with utmost enthusiasm.

Despite the limitations, the spirit of gratitude and their zeal to express it came across beautifully. The students enthralled the virtual gathering with their dance and music performances dishing out a slice from the past to a taste of today’s world. The children performed ‘Let it be’ by the Beatles, ‘Aashiyan’ from the movie Barfi, a dance medley, followed by the band playing ‘Everglow’ by Coldplay. The programme ended with a beautiful semi-classical contemporary dance recital. The school captain’s spontaneous overflow of candid thoughts touched everyone’s heart. As for the teachers, this helped them to bag some everlasting memories and motivation, enough to do more for their students with each coming day.

The technical team did a flawless job in weaving all the videos together. The programme commenced at 8:30 am and ended at 8:45 am, well within time for the regular classes to go on as per schedule.

Considering this being the school’s first celebration of Teacher’s Day on a virtual platform, it was a grand success with remarkable attendance. The programme was entirely a student production and hence was commendable.
