Teachers shape the children of today to be the leaders of tomorrow. They play an extraordinary role in the lives of children during their formative years.
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life.” – Barack Obama.
The above quote was reinforced by the students of 8 and 9 at The Brigade School, Malleswaram on the importance of teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. Students danced vigorously to the peppy fusion tunes of Hip Hop and Freestyle. Students also sang to the lively tune of I want it that Way, the famous composition of the Backstreet Boys -the best-selling boy band of all time.
A skit on the painstaking work of teachers in online teaching was presented by students. They expressed their gratitude to teachers for their effort, perseverance, and effective teaching during the pandemic. The formal expression of gratitude resonated with the words of Malala Yousafzai:” Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world”.
