Jump Start (Pre-Primary)

The pre-primary programme stimulates smart learning at an early age. The Nursery year goes into learning social skills and how to get along with other children of their age. Montessori methods and equipment teach initial skills of logical thinking. The curriculum is based on a traditional set up without compromising the principles of the Montessori methodology. A warm, welcoming environment with caring and friendly teachers is assured so that the children are excited and happy to come to school each morning.

Primary

The focus on introducing children to the excitement and challenges of independent learning, in both academic content and the development of essential skills like critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and the ability to speak and write effectively helps simulate their ‘Nine Intelligences’. Their school programme includes a variety of co-curricular activities, intramural and inter-school events. Counselling is conducted regularly, depending on individual needs.

Children in this age group have a growing, even if unarticulated, need to shoulder responsibility and be allowed independence. We give them opportunities to meet these needs, against the backdrop of the structure and support required to succeed in their efforts. In keeping with our philosophy of developing a ‘complete child’, the emphasis is placed on imbibing attributes like respect, tolerance, integrity and personal accountability.

Secondary & Senior Secondary

The final years of school are one of self-assertiveness and empowerment. As students move into this mature environment, they are guided and motivated at every step. While learning techniques become more comprehensive and deep, independent thinking is what is sought while fulfilling demanding assignments.

With students moving into leading roles, they are encouraged to be role models while being provided ample support to handle stress and problems related to adolescence. Making intelligent career choices depends on the guidance provided at this stage, and increased responsibilities given to them is an acknowledgement of their growing maturity. Undergraduate studies depend on honing their critical thinking and analytical skills. Students are also encouraged to participate in physical and Fine Arts/ Performing Art clubs – two co-curricular activities to fuel their growth even with a full schedule.

Throughout this phase, the emphasis is to expand the breadth of their thinking, self-confidence and gain deep perspectives.
