Grandparents Are A Perfect Blend Of Love, Laughter And Happy Memories.
Grandparents help us create memories that our hearts hold forever. They make the world around, a warm and happy place. Reinforcing the significance of grandparents in a child’s life, the students UKG of The Brigade School, Malleswaram celebrated Grandparents’ Day with warmth, delight, and vigour.
The Grandparents’ Day celebration was aligned with the theme of Persia for the academic year 2024-25. Students swayed and danced to the tune of Persian instrumental music. They sang, “Tatha Ajji Kandodane vandisabeku” a Kannada song to welcome and respect their grandparents. An English song, “With silver hair, and heart of gold,” was sung, emphasising the importance of values in life. Students danced to the tunes of the Hindi song, “Tera Mujhse” displaying affection between grandchildren and grandparents.
The ramp walk was an added attraction to the event. This was followed by jubilant grandparents walking the ramp with props such as Persian waist scarves, Persian tiaras with veils, the Persian water lily, the Persian mask, the Persian hat, the crown, and the Ney. They posed to the foot-tapping musical Persian number.
The grandparents of UKG students at The Brigade School, Malleswaram, shared that it was a day well spent as they watched their grandchildren perform on stage with confidence, bringing back fond memories of their younger days. They enjoyed walking the ramp which was both rejuvenating and gratifying.
The grandparents of The Brigade School at Malleswaram were an epitome of grace and elegance, a perfect corollary of John Donne’s words – “No spring, nor summer hath such grace. As I have seen in one autumnal face.”
