A fire drill was conducted on 25 November for students of Grades 4–12 at The Brigade School, Malleswaram, to create awareness and prepare them for real-life emergencies. The session began with Mr Manjunath, Security Manager of The Brigade Foundation, who spoke about why fire safety training is crucial for every individual.
Students then interacted with a team of experts from the Yeshwanthpur Fire Department, including Mr Vinod Jadhav, District Fire Officer, and Mr Ramabhadraiah, Assistant Fire Station Officer, along with their crew. They explained the different types and classifications of fires, demonstrated how extinguishers work and gave practical tips on identifying LPG gas leaks as well as the importance of keeping carbon dioxide extinguishers at home.

The session concluded with students asking insightful questions, which were answered with great patience by Mr Vinod Jadhav. The programme left everyone empowered with essential fire safety skills and emergency helpline information.
