Fire Drill -The Brigade School, Malleswaram

The staff and students and parents of The Brigade School, Malleswaram witnessed the Fire Drill Activity – an important ‘Life skill’ to be learnt by adults and children alike. Mr. Manjunath-Security Manager of The Brigade School organized the session on December 22, 2022, to lay emphasis on the need for learning to save oneself in times of distress and emergency.

Mr.R Moshanandam -District Assistant Fire Officer – Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services addressed the staff and students on the significance of Fire Services and the Fire Brigade. Mr. Jagadish – Karnataka State Fire Officer and Emergency Services explained to the enthusiastic students the various ways of putting out fires and taught them how to use a fire extinguisher. Mr. Nagaraj, Mr. Manjunath and their teammates demonstrated the various methods of putting out a fire. The staff, students and parents were given hands-on experience in handling a fire extinguisher in case of fire. This demonstration was the need of the hour, and this experiential learning ensured our students, teachers and parents were prepared to handle any unforeseen emergencies.
