The Sports Day at The Brigade School @Malleswaram was held on February 24, 2023, The children were bubbling with enthusiasm and energy and were raring to go!

The event began with the inspiring ‘Walk Past’ by the students of UKG, heralding the start of an array of sports events. The Mass Display was a visual treat to the eye, watching students of LKG adorn their hands with multi-coloured pompoms moving rhythmically to the beat of the drums. The events for the nursery students comprised a Relay race, Flag Race and Pair race. Hula Hoop, Passing the Ball and Balancing Act was for the LKG students. Ball in a Cup race, Obstacle race and Hula Hoop Obstacle race for UKG students. The game for the parents added excitement to the event.

The sports day’s added attraction was the game for the parents keeping the theme of the year, Spain in mind! The football field was host to the famous tourist attractions in Spain. The parents were shown around the areas demarcated as tourist attractions, Spanish instrumental music playing in the background. Parents standing in any of those spots were declared ‘out’ when the music stopped.

The Dia De La Deportes, the Sports Day, was a befitting closure to an eventful year for the students of the pre-primary section.
