Vaccination drive – The Brigade School @Malleswaram

UNICEF believes that vaccines are the world’s safest method to protect children from life-threatening diseases.

The moment could not have arrived any sooner! The Brigade Schools @ Malleswaram conducted a vaccination drive for their students.

Parents accompanied their children to the school and looked relieved that the magic vaccine was finally here! Though the students looked a tad nervous, they were eager to complete their vaccination and waited for their turns amidst strict COVID protocols.

The vaccination drives were organised keeping in mind the increasing threat of the new Omicron Covid strain. The parents were happy that the schools are taking the initiative to ensure the overall health and well-being of the children and left the school premises looking quite relieved. Many of them were unable to get appointments on the COWIN portal.

Parents have written in to say how happy they are with the school’s initiative. To quote such parents:

‘I am writing to thank you for organizing the vaccination drive at the school premises. Must compliment you and the school management for a well-organized and executed drive. Such activities from the school repose our faith in the management of The Brigade School’. -Mr Pavan Cannonade

The school Principals hope that these vaccination drives will result in fewer disruptions in the coming academic year, 2022-23.
