Teacher’s Day 2023 – A Day to Celebrate and Appreciate
Teacher’s Day is a special occasion celebrated to honour and appreciate the contributions of teachers. It is a day dedicated to expressing gratitude and respect to teachers for their dedication and hard work in imparting knowledge and nurturing young minds.
The students at The Brigade School @ Malleswaram wanted to make this Day incredibly special for their teachers.
We put in a ton of practice for this event, but it was worth it. We will always cherish the memories we made.
We brought little bouquets for our teachers, fiery red carnations paired with delicate white baby breath, each tagged with a handwritten note.
Our highly energetic duo, Manish and Param, set the tone with a musical performance by the IX and X graders which got the entire audience swaying and clapping with enthusiasm. Following this buoyant performance, VI graders sang a beautiful melody. A fusion dance performed by the students of grades IX and X took the stage by storm.
Our adorable IV graders, Param, Kiah, Pruthvik and Karina, ignited the stage with the rapid-fire questions prepared for our teachers. Following the fun rapid-fire round was a body percussion dance, performed by students of VIII and X, ending with a small tribute to our principal, Mr. Joseph.
The tingling of the traditional ghungroos set the stage for the next performance, a time-honoured classical Bharatnatyam piece by our VIII, IX, and X standard students. The performance was a feast to the eyes filled with grace and artistic expressions.
The next performance was an upbeat Bollywood-Tollywood mashup that got the audience clapping to the music. The last dance performed by the students of grade X, was an energetic yet graceful way to reach the finale of our event.
With laughter, challenges, triumphs, and shared wisdom, we have forged a unique bond that transcends the traditional teacher-student relationship. These memories remind us that education is not just about textbooks and exams; it is the impact teachers have on their students’ lives!
