The students of Std 9 to 12 of The Brigade School @ Malleswaram organized a short and sweet virtual tribute to the teachers on Teacher’s Day from 8:30 to 8:45 am amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Even with the virtual constraint in mind, the students conducted the program beautifully with various performances across centuries, expressing their gratitude towards teachers with utmost creativity. The children performed ‘Let it be’ by the Beatles, ‘Aashiyan’ from the movie Barfi, a dance medley, followed by the band playing ‘Everglow’ by Coldplay. The program ended with a stunning semi-contemporary style dance recital. The school Captain’s candid thoughts about the efforts teachers take for students moved everyone’s hearts. The teachers were thoroughly enthralled by the program clearly loved the new set of memories created for them by their students.
The technical team of students did a remarkable job in weaving together the videos. Since it was the first virtual celebration of Teacher’s Day, the celebration was outstanding with all the credit going to students.
