How it all began!
In our Social Science class, we have been studying the advent of numbers and how writing began. It was fascinating to learn how humans used gestures, symbols, signs, and sounds to communicate which later translated into the written word. Following this, early humans developed the number system as a way of record keeping.
We took all this information and created unique board games that incorporated all our learning from this chapter. It was fascinating to see the different ways in which my peers showcased their understanding. The class came alive with these games, and it was indeed a very different, yet fun way to learn History.
