Short Story Writing Competition ’24
Aarushi Mandar Yadkikar wrote and submitted a story in her own words to the GEMA International Short Story Writing Competition on 29th Feb 2024. She also added a few illustrations in line with the story. She gave her entry in the sub-junior category.
Her story was titled ‘WINGS’. She received a Certificate of Participation as a ‘PROMISING YOUNG AUTHOR’. Her book has been published by Bribooks and the book is eligible for the prestigious Brooklyn Book Festival 2024 in New York.
Even though she did not qualify for a medal, her CONFIDENCE in participating at an international level at such a young age and her dedication to presenting her thoughts and imagination story form was quite a feat.
She is happy about her achievement and looks forward to participating, writing and achieving medals. She aims to make the name The Brigade School @ Malleswaram renowned across the GLOBE.
